It starts in the Northeast

We decided to start our journey from the East Coast to the West Coast in a place that holds personal significance and fond memories—somewhere in the northeastern part of the US. Maine is always a reliable choice, full of cherished memories. The lobster and rocky harbors, Perkins Cove, and Barnacle Billy's offer stunning scenery and delicious lobster. We then drove to York, ME, where we grabbed some peanut brittle and saltwater taffy from The Goldenrod for the road.

We always love walking around Short Sands Beach area and shopping. During this trip, I found an amazing t-shirt with the slogan #lifeisgood.  The shopping and beach area at Short Sands was lively as always. The ocean remains the same, with the ice-cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean in Maine etched in my memories. The ocean views and rocky coastline from the Union Bluff Hotel at Short Sands are always stunning. We visited Funorama to check if the Medieval Madness pinball machine was still there, ready to take my quarters.
