Engaging the wayback machine...1984, no, not the novel, but my final year of high school, encountering Stephanie while assisting the underclassmen in the Electronics shop. Little did I know then that this girl would become my rock. She still tolerates me. We have two sons who have grown into remarkable young men, one residing on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast.

Our RV adventures began back in 2014 when we traveled to Chicago to pick up Teagan, our second Bernese Mountain Dog. As we drove across the country on I-80, we passed by the Renegade Factory, where a Verona and a Classic were displayed outside along the highway. At that moment, Stephanie and I began researching and dreaming about owning a Renegade. Circumstances in our lives required us to have an RV to travel across the country, pick up our son, and bring him back to Boston for medical care. However, finding a SuperC available "now" during the height of COVID was impossible.

We found a Nexus Wrath in Texas. The Wrath presented a challenge, requiring considerable effort at each stop to keep everything intact. After a year of repairs and adjustments, we decided to visit Florida to check out a Renegade Verona. This led to us trading up for Belle, our first Renegade, a Verona 36VSB. We began encountering other Renegade travelers and attended several Renegade gatherings. At a rally in Georgia, we saw a Classic similar to one we had spotted years ago on I-80. Although it wasn't the same model or truck chassis, it was a Renegade Classic. Trading in Belle was a difficult choice, but we upgraded to Wilma, a 45-foot Renegade Classic CMR body style on a Western Star 57x Chassis. Now we intend to visit the boys, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. The in between will be traveling this country and taking in all that we can.
