Got in a few great rides this week! Started with a short cruise around the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista—mostly spent time dialing in the bike setup, adjusting seats and handlebars for a better fit.
Then we took a longer, scenic ride along the coast in Encinitas. The route wound through beautiful neighborhoods and offered some amazing views of the shoreline—definitely a spot we’ll revisit.
The highlight, though, was a 20.7-mile ride around the coast of Coronado Island. And believe it or not, no sore legs! (Okay, okay... they are e-bikes—but still, it felt great!) The views were absolutely stunning, and the Lectric XP4s handled the ride effortlessly. We only used about 10% of the battery over the entire ride; these bikes are incredibly efficient.
As a bonus, we got to watch Navy fighter jets flying maneuvers and landing at Coronado—such an epic backdrop to an already awesome ride.
Coming up next: we're focused on installing the video camera and rearview mirrors. We're eager to capture additional footage and improve rear visibility. Stay tuned!
