Benny's First Dog Shows: May 2026

We enjoyed a stopover during the Lawrence County, PA Dog Show Week, where Benedict took on a brand-new adventure: conformation. The Lawrence County Fairgrounds was a

fantastic venue… at least until the rain decided to show up. 😂 We are thinking of starting a pool for the number of people who need a tow truck to get out of the parking lot.

Benny had a rough start during the week, including a scary late-night ER vet visit that definitely frightened all of us and caused him to miss one day of the show. Thankfully, he bounced back quickly and returned to doing what he does best, enjoying the company of everyone.

One of the highlights of the week was watching Benny connect instantly with his handler, Michelle Scott. The two became fast friends right away, and Michelle was absolutely amazing throughout the experience. What started as a stressful few days ended up becoming a memorable new adventure for Benny — and for all of us.
